This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "Stellara" (the "App") and explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.
Legal bases for processing are Art. 6 GDPR — specifically performance of contract (b), your consent (a), and legitimate interests in App functionality (f).
This data is stored locally on your device. To generate your personalized content, it is transmitted to our server (hosted by Railway, EU region) with each request, processed there and not stored permanently.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. (1161 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA) to manage in-app purchases (Stellara Plus, Stellara Pro). RevenueCat creates an anonymous customer ID and stores your current subscription status. Payments are processed by Google Play; we do not receive any credit card information.

In the event of an app crash, anonymized crash reports are collected (device type, Android version, stack trace). This data is processed via Expo/EAS (Expo, Inc., USA) solely for error analysis. It is not linked to your identity.
To generate horoscopes, affirmations, and answers to your questions, details from your profile are transmitted to an AI service (Anthropic Claude API): your first name, your zodiac sign, your industry and, if you use Plus or Pro, additionally your time of birth and place of birth. When you ask a question in the chat, today's horoscope is sent along so the answer fits it.
Your date of birth is not transmitted, only the zodiac sign derived from it. Your subscription identifier is not passed to the AI service; it is used solely to verify your subscription and to limit the number of requests per day.

For transfers to the USA, EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or Data Privacy Framework (DPF) certifications are in place.
Your profile data (name, date of birth, etc.) is stored locally on your device and can be deleted completely at any time in the App settings ("Delete my data"). No profile data is stored permanently on our servers.
Purchase and subscription records are retained in accordance with tax law requirements (7 years under Austrian law, § 132 BAO).
